The bar remains affectionally known by locals as the gluepot. The rear of the original building was at one time home to a blacksmith, who when trimming horse hooves would melt the cut off in a double-sided pot to produce glue.
You will find a great selection of local whisky, gin, and local ales, including our very own Oyster Inn draught. During the winter months relax by the open fire. To the rear, there is a sheltered beer garden.
